What is App-Ads.txt?
App-Ads.txt is an initiative by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to enhance security in the digital advertising industry. This system enables app developers to declare who is authorized to sell their inventory, eliminating the risk of counterfeit inventory from unauthorized digital sellers.
There are two methods to set up app-ads.txt for your AppsGeyser application: using
the provided link for app-ads.txt, or adding it manually to your website.
Option 1: Using the Provided Link for app-ads.txt
- On the AppsGeyser dashboard, go to the Monetize section.

Here, look for the App-ads.txt Validation section. You will see an 'I don't have a website' option.

Under this option, you'll see a provided link for app-ads.txt. Alternatively, you can find it on Self-publish page under 'App's Website URL for store Listing contact details.'

Copy the link. It should look like this: https://app12345678.appsgeyser.com/.

Navigate to the Google Play Console and choose the app you want to apply the app-ads.txt to.

Go to "Store Presence," then select "Store Settings."

In the Store Listing Contact Details section, paste the copied app-ads.txt link as your website link. Save the changes.
Option 2: Adding app-ads.txt Manually to Your Website

On the AppsGeyser dashboard, go to the Monetize section.
- Here, look for the App-ads.txt Validation section. You will see an 'I have a website' option.

Under this option, you'll see the sheet of IDs. Copy all these IDs.

Go to the root domain of your website and create a new file named 'app-ads.txt'. Paste all the copied IDs into this file.

Navigate to the Google Play Console and choose the app you want to apply the app-ads.txt to.

Go to "Store Presence," then select "Store Settings."

In the Store Listing Contact Details section, paste the link to your website (where you just added the app-ads.txt file) as your website link. Save the changes.
